Fashion Meets Fantasy: Massachusetts College of Art students’ apparel design creations in PORON Urethanes.
|
The PORON Urethanes Design Challenge was established to encourage, recognize and reward student design creativity and ingenuity in applications featuring the company’s high performance foams.
Annually Rogers’ interviews colleges/universities in North America with leading design programs in industrial, footwear, medical and fashion. As a result of this process, the company partners with a single institution each semester and works closely with professors to integrate PORON Urethanes into their course curriculum. At the end of the semester, a panel of independent judges reviews student entrants’ projects. The winning designs receive scholarships that are deposited with the Bursar’s office in each student winner’s name to offset future tuition expenses.
In 2007 Rogers was pleased to partner with the Massachusetts College of Art (MCA), Boston, Mass, on the inaugural PORON Urethanes Fashion Design Challenge.
